Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 14 September 2026

House of Ovelle is committed to making houseofovelle.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Those guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, learning and neurological differences.

What we do

  • Design for sufficient colour contrast between text and its background.
  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images and label decorative images so assistive technology can skip them.
  • Build pages that can be operated entirely from a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Use semantic headings, landmarks and form labels so that page structure is announced correctly.
  • Respect the reduced motion setting in your operating system and browser.
  • Review new pages, product templates and checkout flows for accessibility before they go live.

Known limitations

Parts of our site rely on third-party software — including payment processing, reviews and customer support tools — that we do not directly control. We test these integrations and raise issues with our vendors, but their behaviour may not always meet the standard above.

Feedback and assistance

If you encounter a barrier on our site, or if you would like help placing an order, we want to hear from you. Tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using, and we will respond within two business days. Where a page cannot be made usable straight away, we will complete your request with you directly by email.
